Our Om Symbol Night Light is handmade from ethically-sourced wood that is hand-finished to a smooth surface. Translucent Kozo paper backing (which is made from renewable branches of the Kozo bush) allows light to glow warmly through the cut-out symbol.
This Om Symbol Night Light is available in natural, untreated Poplar, or in Shou Sugi Ban (Yakisugi) technique, which is the Japanese torched style, that creates a darker finish and vivid grain.
The Night Light has a small sensor that turns the light on and off automatically, the plug is a standard groundless US receptacle type, and this unit comes with an LED light and fixture.
About the Symbol: The Om Symbol is said to represent the one-ness of all creation, including the heavens, earth, and underworld. Om is also a mantra, or vibration, that is traditionally chanted at the beginning and end of yoga and/or meditation sessions.
